Which is the worst?

Sometimes I ask myself which is the worst among these four  anomalies:

(1) Stealing billions of taxpayers’ money while in public office and lying, at the same time, that one’s political dynasty is the reason behind the progress of his city;

(2) Killing suspects without due process of law, equal protection of the law, right to counsel, right to remain silent, presumption of innocence, and access to the courts while projecting an image of a strong and magnanimous leadership based on law and order;

(3) Stealing a “natural-born citizen” status, with the aid of the court of last resort of the land, as part of one’s political ambition to sit in Malacanang in the process undermining Constitutionalism, the rule of law, the unity of the people, and the political stability of the country; or

(4) Revising our history by deluding the younger generations that the Marcos conjugal dictatorship and its cronies and generals saved our country from collapse and that our martial-law experience is  the best thing that has ever happened to our people.
